Cumbria’s Renewables Revolution!

Cumbria has been praised by the government for its efforts in working towards a greater use of renewable energy. The county was singled out thanks to its residents pioneering focus on Biomass and wind energy generation.

 Viridis has seen a 80% increase in the regions enquiries and surveys to establish what solutions could be viable even in areas of outstanding natural beauty. Viridis Partner, Peter Moore, said that “ The people of Cumbria have quickly realised the tremendous benefits of renewable energy, land and property owners can enjoy significant returns on their investments.” 

Recently, minister Lord Hunt said “Cumbria is setting a good example to the rest of the UK by having more renewable energy sites than in any other location in Britain”
