Buyers of renewable energy technologies beware!!
With the introduction of the Feed In Tariff in April of this year, and the Renewable Heat incentive in April of 2011, one would assume that this is fantastic news for those thinking of installing renewable energy technologies?
It is, but be aware that you will only be eligible for these payments if your installation is carried out by a Microgeneration Scheme Certified installer. Not all installers are, especially those installing solar thermal, which is set to be the most popular of installed technologies
Not getting this right, could cost you literally £000’s… If you are in any doubt about this, then seek independent advice….

Thanks for the heads up, I would be mightily annoyed if I thought I had a grant and then had to find the money elsewhere due to the lack of certification from supplier.
No problem Sarah. It could be a big problem for some??!! Thanks for your comments..
