How our solar panel brokerage service adds value.
Our recently launched solar panel brokerage service has proved very successful, not just for us, but also our clients too!
We give our clients 2 options:
Option 1):
We assess their site, take the necessary details, and take the project to a number of solar panel installers for a quote. We analyse the quotes, and calculate the best value for the client. The “winning” installer is then invited to the site to meet the client, and formalise the quote.
This service is ideal for clients who are either too busy for, or simply don’t want a visit from a number of solar salespeople.
Currently, in order to keep our modest fee for this down (£150 + VAT), we can only offer this service in Kent, Suffolk, Essex, and Norfolk.
Option 2)
The client obtains a number of quotes (2-4) themselves. They provide us with some information about those quotes and their property, we analyse them, and provide the client with our summary of which system is the best value. In addition to this, we also aim to find the client a better quote from another installer.
Just recently, we had a client contact us wishing to use this service. He’d already had 2 quotes:
a). A 3.6kwp system for £14,500
b). A 4.2kwp?? System for £13,700.
As you can imagine, the client was a little confused?
He used this service, and we found an installer who would offer a 3.9kwp system for £12,000.
As this is a desktop service, we can offer this to anyone, anywhere, and for domestic clients is only £100 + VAT!
As you can see, that represents fantastic value, when you consider the savings made by the client.
